Your appliance's model number is the fastest way to find the right replacement part. It's printed on a sticker or metal plate called the rating label. Here's where to look:
Refrigerator
- Inside the fresh-food compartment, on the left or right wall near the top
- Under the crisper drawers or on the ceiling of the fridge
- On the back of the unit, near the bottom
Washer
- Top-load: under the lid, or on the back of the control panel
- Front-load: around the door frame, or behind the kick plate at the bottom
Dryer
- Inside the door frame
- On the back panel, or behind the lint filter opening
Dishwasher
- On the edge of the door, along the left or right side
- On the inside wall of the tub, near the door opening
Range / Oven
- Behind the storage drawer or broiler drawer
- On the oven door frame (open the door)
- Under the cooktop (lift it if your model allows)
Air Conditioner
- On the side of the unit, or behind the front grille
Blender
- On the bottom of the motor base
Tips
- Take a photo of the label so you always have it.
- Model numbers often contain letters that look like numbers (O vs 0, I vs 1). Double-check them.
- If you have your old part, the part number printed on it works too. Search it in our part finder.
